The Pendo settings are used to manage your subscription and control the behavior of your web and mobile apps.
Subscription Settings
To access subscription settings navigate to Settings > Subscription Settings from the bottom of the left-side menu. The Settings tab is open by default. In this tab you can find the following information:
Setting |
Description |
Bevy | Pendo admins can enable OAuth, which allows Pendo users in the subscription to sign into Pendo Community events using their Pendo login credentials. |
Setting |
Description |
Access enabled through |
Grant automatic approval for Support agents to access your subscription. This saves time by removing the asynchronous back-and-forth that would otherwise be required between you and Support to grant them access before they can investigate a problem. Enabling Pendo Support Access creates a new user role in your subscription that identifies Support users, allowing them to investigate issues in your subscription. The setting turns off automatically on a date that you specify. The maximum access duration is 90 days. Admin users can reset the duration and disable access at any time. |
Setting |
Description |
Display Name |
The name you will see for your subscription. This can be changed by subscription admins at any time. |
Time Zone |
The time zone to which the subscription is set. Changing the time zone will reprocess all events to reflect the selected time zone. You will not have access to all events until processing is complete. |

This indicates which login methods are currently available for your users. Username & Password - This is the default login method - where a user sets a 'local' Pendo password. Google G-Suite - If the user's email in Pendo is a Google email account, they can use Google SSO to sign in to Pendo. SAML SSO - This allows people to sign in using SAML providers like Okta. Please follow the steps in the linked documentation to set this up. |

Obscure Staging Server Names |
Staging server names can be seen in the agent code that is pulled into the page when Pendo runs. If a customer needs to obscure those server names, this setting can be enabled. |
Show Anonymous Visitor Data |
There may be parts of your application that don't require a login. This setting allows you to collect usage data for users that don't have a User ID by generating anonymous IDs for them. These anonymous visitors will then be counted as part of your Monthly Active Users (MAU). Learn more here. |
Enable Email Functionality for NPS |
Enable email backup for NPS. Please submit a support ticket to have this changed. |
Allow Subscription data to be used for internal Pendo analysis |
This indicates whether the data collected by the sub can be utilized for Pendo’s internal analytics. Submit a support ticket to have this changed. |

Collect Page Titles |
When enabled, this adds the <title> value of each page to the URL collected by the agent. It is added as a query parameter called "pendo_document_title". For example, if the title of www.example.com/home is "Welcome Page", the URL is captured as https://www.example.com/home?_pendo_document_title=Welcome+Page. |
