With Pendo for Mobile, you can create a connected digital experience across your mobile and web product portfolio. Analyze how your users interact with your solution in all settings, and understand how users move across platforms. Harness insights throughout the product journey and tailor in-app guidance based on the user’s device.
In September 2019, Pendo will release a mobile SDK v2.0 in beta. The new SDK will be extended to users by invitation only (Closed Beta).
In this upcoming release includes the following:
Mobile Pendo SDKs starts collecting analytics after a successful install. This allows Pendo to automatically track any user action in your app, providing insights without prior app tagging (retroactive analytics).
Utilize multi-app paths and funnels to track users throughout their product journey on mobile and web.
- Analytics and Guides are agnostic to app versions, allowing you to make updates without needing to change the way Pendo tracks user interactions on mobile apps.
Use Pendo’s Visual Design Studio to create ”lightbox” type Guides for mobile users that unify their product experience across all platforms.
Visual Designer Studio (VDS) features include a visual point-and-click interface, Guide localization, Themes and Layouts.
Guide creators will be able to preview the mobile Guides on the web and test the mobile guides on their device.
Users can view and export mobile Guide metrics and Guide raw data.
- Additional mobile Guide types will be added throughout the rest of the year (late Sept - Dec 2019) and beginning of 2020 such as polls, mobile NPS, tooltips, onboarding carousel and more.
- Visitor data is tracked across platforms. This allows you to create a segment based on actions on web to trigger mobile Guides the next time that visitor launches your application, and vice versa.
