SwiftUI is Apple's brand new framework for building user interfaces for iOS, tvOS, macOS, and watchOS. Apple introduced SwiftUI in 2019 and the framework has been evolving at a rapid pace ever since.
Note: This feature is still in beta status and some elements may not be accurate in all scenarios. Please open a ticket with a code sample if you find a bug.
See Apple documentation for more information.
Until recently, SwiftUI was supported by track events only. As part of the open beta solution, we are also starting to support a codeless solution for SwiftUI components:
- Page view analytics
- Feature clicks
- Tooltip guides
- Guides with activations (page view, target element)
SwiftUI support is available starting from SDK version 2.18.0 and above. For information on how to install the Pendo iOS SDK and the limitations for the beta, see Developer's Guide to Installing the Pendo iOS SDK (Swift).
For limitations of the Pendo SDK SwiftUI codeless solution, see Developer details and limitations.
