SwiftUI readiness list for installing SwiftUI (Open Beta Limitations)

Last Updated:

SwiftUI is Apple's brand new framework for building user interfaces for iOS, tvOS, macOS, and watchOS. Apple introduced SwiftUI in 2019 and the framework has been evolving rapidly ever since.

Note: This feature is still in beta status and some elements may not be accurate in all scenarios. Please open a ticket with a code sample if you find a bug.

See Apple documentation for more information.

SwiftUI Pendo

Until recently, SwiftUI was supported by track events only. As part of the open beta solution, we are also starting to support a codeless solution for SwiftUI components:

  • Page view analytics
  • Feature clicks
  • Tooltip guides
  • Guides with activations (page view, target element)

SwiftUI support is available from SDK version 2.18.0 and above. However, using version 2.21 and above with the latest updates is recommended. For information on how to install the Pendo iOS SDK and the limitations for the beta, see SwiftUI installation instructions in Github.
