Excluding specific emails from targeting
Hello,
How can I exclude users from a segment? I want to reach all customers except a small subsegment. What info do I need to exclude them? Can I exclude by a .csv file?

With the new Nested Segments feature, you can create a segment by uploading a CSV (i.e. "Users to Ignore") and start your Guide segment by choosing the "is not equal to" operator.
Thanks, @Greg! When I upload that CSV, are there specific fields I need? Could I just include emails, for example? So, a CSV with 5k emails that should NOT receive the guide?

The CSV should contain the list of Visitor IDs. That feature is only applicable with Visitor ID or Account ID values, unfortunately. You can learn more here.
