Data Explorer: "More data may be available. Please rebuild in Data Explorer."

I've got the message "More data may be available. Please rebuild in Data Explorer." on some of my Data Explorer widgets in a dashboard. Does anyone know exactly what this means?

I've tried re-running and re-saving the reports in Data Explorer, but the message remains.The report has more rows than can be displayed in the chart, might this be related?
