Cleaning up the dashboards

Hey team . . . 

Looking to expand our adoption of Pendo & trying to leverage the shared dashboards as a way to get people in & looking at the information.  Noticed that there's a bunch of dashboards out here that make no sense and/or were created by people who have since left the company.  How can we get rid of these?  I'm shared as a 'view-only' :(

  • Hi both, I think if the creator of the dashboard is no longer active in your subscription then even an admin is unable to delete them. I would try raise a support case with Pendo to see if they can delete them for you.

  • Having to reach out to Support, which is often times unhelpful and unresponsive, simply to ask for help addressing a dashboard clean up is not the most optimal Customer experience.  We have struggled with support in the past, and gaining adoption and support of this tool proves to be more difficult every day - this is yet another reason
    If we want to be a product-led org, we need the tools to do so, and having a bunch of dashboards that make zero sense, including those that were created by people who left is creating more problems than helping us. 
    Pendo isn't Pendo-ing here....

  • Having a similar issue - my work email address changed, so while I still exist I cannot update or delete my "old" user's dashboard independently.
