Trigger guide by pushing track event
Is it possible to initiate a guide by pushing a track event in the browser?
On the frontend, I'm triggering a custom event using the following:
window.pendo.track('My custom event');
While setting up my Pendo guide, I've directed it to a specific page where I want the guide to display. Additionally, I've established a Custom Segment and filtered it by 'Track events' and specified 'My custom event'. Even though I can observe the event being triggered on the frontend and can select it in the guide configuration, Pendo seems to overlook the custom segment. Instead, it displays the guide on the designated page regardless of the segment. Any insights on this would be appreciated.

I suspect if you're using a permalink to a url - it will show under all cases as I believe that's the intention using the direct url launch. You could try removing the API permalink (if that's how it's set) and set the activation settings to appear once automatically on the specific page or element on specific page with your track event segment.
