Embedded video giving "This content is blocked. Contact the site owner to fix the issue." error
We've had a handful of guides with embedded video (hosted at Brightcove) running for over a year without issue and all of a sudden (within the past week) the embedded video player is showing a big grey box with the words "This content is blocked. Contact the site owner to fix the issue." Oddly enough, if I'm in the Designer modifying the guide, the video shows and runs just fine, but in both preview and production it shows the error box. To my knowledge, nothing has changed at Brightcove.
We're now in a scramble to remove the embedded videos and instead link to them (which works completely fine).
Any thoughts?

Perhaps this could give you some guidance: https://support.pendo.io/hc/en-us/articles/12723700905883-Video-isn-t-displaying-in-a-guide.
Maybe the link you're using is only visible to you as someone logged into the Brightcove platform, but the video permissions doesn't allow the public to have access to it.
Thanks Ryan! I have reviewed that support guide and while the issue is essentially the same as what I'm encountering, I was able to fix the problem. I was hopeful it was a permissions issue, but our Brightcove team has noted that they have made no changes to the access of the videos and I can still play these videos in the Pendo Designer, but when I preview the Pendo message or push it live to test they don't show.
It could come down to the "Content Security Policy" noted in that article, which is going to be a challenging investigation.
Thanks again for your response!
Good to hear you gained a bit more insight around the issue. If it helps, when we run into CSP issues in our application, I've noticed Firefox is more likely to throw errors compared to Chrome. Good luck!
