Different number of visitors in segment and in exported CSV

Hi, I am facing the problem that I have a different number of users in the segment in Pendo UI (eligible users) and in the exported CSV. Has anyone else encountered the same problem or is there an explanation please? I have been working with Pendo for a long time and have never encountered this situation. Today all the segments behave this way and it's really a problem for me - I don't know which number is authoritative for statistics. In Pendo are 5 500 visitors and in CSV 6 300, for different segment 49 vs. 87.. Exported data also meets my conditions when I check parameters in table. I could not find the answer, only for problems with the uploaded CSV, but there is problem with export.

Btw. we have only one Application in our subscription, so there is no reason.

  • Maybe this will help someone else, so I'll share what I found out - the CSV and the "eligible visitors" display in the UI are really different. Only users who have been active in the last 12 months are in the Pendo UI overview, whereas in CSV are all users.

  • Additionally, if users are linked to muliple accounts, then each visitor/account relationship will show up as an eligible visitor. If you had csv of 100 visitors ids, but they access multiple accounts then you could get more than 100 eligible visitors
