In-app is usually best but we do send out a back-up email too. The nice things about using Pendo's NPS offering, is that you can target who you send the NPS survey too instead of sending an email out to everyone! When you make a NPS survey targeted and in-app, you are much more likely to get more (and better quality!) responses.
