Does Pendo collect IP addresses?

I have a customer that has concerns related to PII. They would like to disable IP address collection but would still like to have regional data be pulled through. Is this possible?

  Pendo does collect regional data based on IP address (using the geoip that Google assigns to the incoming data) and we block collecting both IPs and geoip data together. We have no option for blocking IPs that automatically collects any form of location data.

   

  If you want to block IP address collection but have any form of regional data, you need to pass that regional data as separate metadata.
