Tech Note: Segment.io - how to turn off Pendo for certain users?
When installing Pendo via Segment.io, the Segment code snippet is installed on the application. The Segment code snippet is what automatically initializes (turns on) Pendo.
For users who don't want to be tracked by Pendo, you probably wouldn't want to collect data on them via Segment either. Thus, your development team can set up conditional logic within your application that will determine whether or not to include the Segment code snippet (based on whether or not a user has consented to data collection).
