Web Analytics Dashboard math

Hello,

I’m working on pulling hourly data via the Aggregation API for all of our applications in Pendo.

I’m particularly confused about how the Analytics → Web Analytics session and traffic values are calculated. The traffic, sessions, and average sessions per visitor in the hourly breakdown below sum to more than the overall values shown above.

Using the Aggregation API, I’m able to source this data and match it 1:1 with the hourly breakdown. I’d like some guidance on how the overall Web Analytics metrics are calculated on the site and how I can source those same values myself for internal reporting via the api, are they supposed to sum to the hourly? where are they stored etc?  .
