  Hello Robert,

  The answer to 1 and 2 is most often accomplished via the Metadata that you provide to Pendo for your Visitors.  For example, you might create a segment off of a metadata field called 'Visitor Type' that might be either "Internal" or "External".

  To answer your third question - the Exclusion List in Pendo acts as a global filter for the analytics within the tool.  Pendo is still collecting the data for any Excluded Visitor or traffic, but that data will not appear within the Analytics (without specifying the default 'Excluded Visitors' segment in your analysis).
