Assigning multiple segments to a guide
I have a guide and currently have 3 segments of users that I'd like to see it. Is there a way to assign them all or do I need to combine them into one?

You would need to combine the logic of your three segments into a new segment, or duplicate your guide for each segment. Each guide can only be associated with a single Segment.
If I understand what you mean correctly, it seems like you can actually assign multiple existing segments in a new segment if you choose the Product Usage > Segment option when defining the segment. This lets you choose one of your global segments and state whether the segment should be equal to or not equal to the visitors contained in that segment. Using this method you could stack up to 5 global segments using AND/OR logic in a new segment.

That is correct Sarah Holdgrafer. The 'Segment' rule for Segmentation is actually a newer feature since this thread started two years ago. But it allows you to do just what you've described.
