How can I sync my CSM from Salesforce to Pendo Account details?

I have to believe someone has come up with a cool workaround here.  The documentation for the Salesforce integration states that 'lookup' field types are not supported.

My SFDC admin tells me that the CSM field on our account record is a e-mail lookup field.

This seems like the sort of information most people would want/need to sync over.

Any advice?

  • Late to the party here, but I had the same issue.  We had to create another SFDC string field that we have populated with a workflow that mirrors what is in our CSM lookup field.  So if our CSM Assigned field updates, our CSM Assigned Pendo field updates. Duplicative work, but it does the job.
