How do we use geolocation in pendo? Are there any dashboard widgets that can display, such as a location map like GA uses?

Hi Derek,
This would be data that you pass to Pendo. We capture geolocation, but it's not transformed into usable metadata that can be leveraged in segments/reports/guides. You would need to pass 'locale' and 'country' as metadata fields in your snippet to do so.

You must pass "location" to Pendo, usually done as metadata at the visitor level.
Hi Emma, is "location" a piece of data we have to provide or something Pendo collects like browser version?
And 'locale' and 'country' would be usable metadata captured and sent to our instance from the snippet or would we have to create the logic for these fields ourselves in the snippet, e.g. convert IP address to 'locale' and 'country'?
