Launch Resource Center from icon in my application, not the RC launch button
Hey all. My company wants to NOT have the normal RC icon floating in the bottom-right corner of our screens for users to click. We are going with an icon that we are embedding in our application. Our "new" RC will have only a guides list where all items will be page-specific (so if I'm on the "scheduling" page, I'll only see scheduling guides. Pendo has assured me that this is all possible and that if that guide is the only one in the RC, it will just automatically open when the user clicks on our icon.
My question now is, how do we tie our new icon to the Resource Center so it will launch the RC when the user clicks the icon? Is there an API or something? Has anyone done this?

This would be setting up your RC to be target activated instead of badge activated, and then you proceed just like setting up a normal guide :) it will automatically open if you only have one module (guide list sounds like based on your post), and if the user is in the segment for at least one guide in the guide list
