Pendo Usage Guidelines
Hello. My company is looking at creating guidelines. Basically, under what circumstances do we create guides for, and what we do not create guides for. Does anyone have anything that your company uses for guidelines? I'd appreciate any help.

What an interesting idea, I like it! We do not have specific guidelines for circumstances, but we do communicate internally that guides should be used if existing product functionality won't solve the problem, and if using Pendo would help address/solve the problem for at least 80% of the intended target audience. If dev work is a constraint, that can be factored in as well--for example, if the guide request is actually work about to be started by the product team in the next couple of sprints, we might not make the guide at all. Or we make it with an expiration date in place so the dev work can then take the stage :)
