How to track Ideas Portal Metrics
Hi,
We have implemented a 'pilot' Ideas portal for one of our product areas. We have used a Now, Next, Later, style tab structure for the ideas portal, alongside the individual ideas associated with each stage of release.
We would like to track user engagement with the portal and the various sections and view usage metrics in a Pendo dashboard.
We attempted to tag the Pendo Idea Portal elements in a similar way to how we have tagged Pendo Resource Center elements, however, we don't seem to have been able to insert the correct custom css tagging.
My questions are:
- Is it possible to custom tag the Pendo Ideas portal elements? i.e. section tabs and 'submit vote' button.
- If yes, can anyone give an example of the custom CSS code tag that is needed to collect usage metrics?
Ultimately, do we know if Pendo will introduce in app metrics tabs similar to guide metrics and resource center metrics for the Ideas Portal?
