Advice on creating contextual resources in Pendo Resource Center
Hi Pendo team!
I'm from Bonterra's Digital Learning team and we want to make our help resources more contextual.
Basically, we have a Resource Center (created in Pendo) in our product. We want to find a way to serve up Help Articles in our Resource Center (RC) that are page-dependent. For example, if a customer is on the 'Campaigns" page, then when they open up the Resource Center, they would see a list of Help Articles that relate to campaigns. Then, if they go to the 'Direct Mail' page and open the RC, they'd only see a list of Help Articles relating to direct mail, and the list of 'campaigns' articles would no longer be visible.
Is this something you can help us with? We are looking for ideas on how this, or something similar, can be achieved. Our main goal is to create contextual resources, so I'd appreciate learning about what options we have (within the Resource Center especially) to make our resources more context specific.

hey Ariana! The simplest way I believe is to build out a guide list module where each article is inside its own single-step guide, and the guides are page-specific. That way even though they are all added to the module, the single-step guides only display on the pages where the user is and where the article is relevant. It will result in a lot of guides, but maybe that's okay? You can edit them independently, segment them, etc.
An alternative solution involves using a sandbox module and javascript to look at the user's URL and then display an article within an iframe in the Resource Center based on you mapping out URLs to article paths/URLs. This one only lets you display an article at a time, though, unless you display a URL that is like a guide that lists out all the articles related to that topic in the knowledge base.
