How to make Tour Guide show only once per user but they can access it again via Target element?
I created a tour guide experience that uses 11 steps to walkthrough the new features on a page of our application.
For example,
The application is a database of 100 people and you can go a layer deeper to see each individual person's profile page where my tour guide experience would live.
Upon arriving on the page, I want to show users the tour guide automatically on page load only once until dismissed or they finish the tour. If they dismiss or finish the tour from here, they can still access the tour again by clicking on a "Take the Tour" link as the target element on that page.
I have everything set up correctly up to here (see images attached) with Guide Activation set ON for both "Automatically" and "Target Element: Take a Tour Link" and "Guide Behavior: Show only on element click" and "Frequency: Show every time".
However, I only want the tour guide to automatically appear only once for each unique user for the first profile page they visit. Meaning, out of the 100 people listed in the database, they could be browsing 10 different people's profile pages but they will only see the tour guide automatically appear for the first profile page they visit. Any of the following other profile pages of other people will not automatically trigger the tour guide until the user clicks on the "Take a tour" link on any of the profile pages to access the tour guide again.
If it helps, the URL structure is: appname.com/people/{peopleID}/profile
where {peopleID} is the unique ID for each person in the database from 1 to 100.
Do I set the "Page Location" to be "Sitewide" or "Only on this page: people/{peopleID}/profile"? Or would it be a different setting?

Is there a reason you went with target activation over badge and making a text badge with your tour text?
I'd make it page specific like you listed, but keep in mind that your target for target activation should also be on that page if I'm not mistaken.
