Track Feature Usage by Month
Hi!
Does anyone have any tips on tracking feature usage by month? We are currently using a Data Explorer report that includes a Segment that includes rules that specify if an Account has used the feature. We like to pull these reports every month, but we noticed the numbers fluctuate even after the month is over (ex. The report says 50 Accounts used our feature in June when we pull the data on August 1st, but when we pull the same report on September 1st the June usage number has jumped to 54).
We've talked to Pendo and have been told this is the expected behavior since Pendo looks at historical data and will pull in Accounts that they have deemed as "eligible" retroactively.
Does anyone know how to get around this? We really need a stagnant, consistent number that we can trust.

In Data Explorer what metric are you using on your group of features? Is it unique accounts, or something else? If you use an account-specific metric up there I'd think you could keep your segment more broad or even Everyone.
