Hiding a page element using Pendo

Is it possible to hide a page element using the Javascript capabilties of guide content?

I noticed this warning at the bottom of the editor which seems to indicate that the Javascript can impact elements outside the guide.

Hi Steven Yan,

This can be possible using the code block, but the code is only 'active' while the guide is displayed though - so the guide would have to remain active the entire time that you want the element blocked.

But I would say this is not a supported use case and not recommended by Pendo.
