'Don't show this again' checkbox
Hi there,
I’m trying to align a Pendo modal step with a specific design requirement that includes a “Don’t show this again” checkbox. The idea is for users to check this box if they no longer wish to see the guide in the future.
I’m aware of the Activation Settings > On guide dismissal option, which allows control over how often a guide is displayed per user (for example, repeating every day until two dismissals). However, in this case, I specifically need to implement a “Don’t show this again” checkbox for a more intuitive user experience.
Is there any way to build this using a custom code block or another workaround?

I can offer a workaround - not a checkbox, but make it a button. Perhaps use the Dismiss in the bottom left but with a label of "Don't show again".
Then Tag the button as a feature in Pendo and in your segment for the guide, only show it to users who have never clicked that feature (button),
Not exactly what you want, I know, but if you haven't considered it, then it may be viable.
