Display Guide only after log in for the first time that day.
I want to create interstitial guides using pendo and am a little stuck on how to make sure activation is appropriate.
I want to display the interstitial guide after the user logs in. Think of it as displaying the first time the user is on that page that day. We are thinking of displaying the guide on the homepage BUT
Our home page is also a dashboard page, our users may go to this homepage after their initial log in to review reports. As a global company, even if we schedule the guide for after working hours, some users may click on that "home page" and see this interstitial guide. This is an issue because that would interrupt their workflow. I want to use these interstitial guides for the purpose of avoiding interruption.

I wonder if Repeat Guide Display could help you here -- if you provide a clear way to dismiss the guide, then you could set it to repeat display once per day and it would stay out of the way until the next time they log in another day.
If it needs to auto-dismiss, you could center it and also target it to the body of your dashboard page and set up the guide to advance on element click, so if they click anywhere outside of it (or its X to close) it is dismissed until the next day.
