Advance guide based on feature usage

I am trying to create an onboarding walkthrough guide for new users but am having difficult figuring out how to advance the guide based on the actions I want.

We have a clinic management platform so one of the first things I want users to do is create a service that their patients can schedule.

Services have a bunch of different options/things that need to be filled in so I want to have it so they have to fill in a few specific fields and then click save before continuing with the guide.

I know how to advance the guide if they click the save button but I want to sort of lock them on this page until the actions are complete, is this possible?
