Activating two guides on the same page

I created two guides that I want to display on the same page. The first guide is a new feature announcement and the second guide is a tooltip which points to where the feature is located. The goal is to be able to run both these guides. The new feature announcement is set to automatic, so it shows up only once. However, I set the tooltip to display when an element is clicked on.

Every time I test the guides on that page, only one of them works.

Thanks for your question in the Discussion Community. Pendo only allows one guide at a time to be displayed so this is expected behavior for what you are seeing.

I would recommend having a guide lead to another guide to produce a similar experience:

It would be really great if you could run multiple guides at once. It's actually a real deficit as I was going to use multiple guides for beta testing, allowing people to click on a feature to see what it was about. Having a multi step guide on every page is a less easy experience for users.
