Guide URL Link action for adding parameters to the existing page url
Hi. I want to showcase our product's side panels in an onboarding guide. I tried to make the "Next" button in the previous guide to trigger panel open for the next one by adding the parameter ?panel=widget but it does not work. From the great Tech Note Article I learned that I can use relative URLs for subdomains. Unfortunately, this won't work in my situation when the URL is unique for every user. The page name after the domain can be e.g. /123abc/PageName/456def/.
Is there a way I could add parameters to the existing page URL? E.g. just add ?panel=widget after the existing page URL? My next step should change the URL from ?panel=widget to ?panel=section but still stay on the same page. Having some variable for the [existing page] would be perfect.
Thanks,
Sami

There's actually a new button action coming out/out already called Automation that should help with this! If it's been released to GA, it's at the very bottom of the list of button actions available.
Liz Feller I see the automation action now but I'm not seeing how I can add a url parameter to the url with it. Were you able to figure it out? Sami Vuori?
