  Thanks for sharing your question in the Discussion Community. Right now this is not possible out of the box for Pendo guides and this is a feature request that has been brought up before. I can add your profile as another vote.

  We do have some other workarounds that have been suggested such as the following:

  • Splitting Paths for a Guide
  • Embedding guides within a guide to set up a choose your own adventure
  • If the user has an element present compared to other users, you can try this snippet code for a guide step (https://github.com/pendo-io/snippets/blob/master/guides/advancingGuides/advanceGuideOnElementAppear/advanceGuideOnElementAppear.js)

  I hope some of these suggestions help, but if others want to chime in with other workarounds or want to upvote the feedback request, please do so!

  For our guides we use snippet codes just as Howard mentioned above. The two snippet codes we use the most is SkipStepNoElement and GotoStepNoElement.

  Do we have any progress to report on this feature? Can we establish a condition for features that are underutilized or not used, such as implementing a "Did you know" box to appear for clients who do not utilize a specific functionality?

  Seems like this feature has high demand. Checking as well if there is any progress on feature development. Implementing this feature would ease most of our processes of guide creation.
