Preview conversations mode

The conversations mode preview shows sample Issues and Conversations insights for agents that only capture prompts. Use this preview to understand the value of capturing full conversations before you install the Conversations API and start analyzing your own data.

This experience is available only for prompt-only agents.

What the preview shows

If your agent currently captures prompts only, you see two additional tabs in the agent details view:

  • Issues (Preview).
  • Conversations (Preview).

These tabs display sample data that represents the types of insights available when full conversations are captured.

Issues (Preview)

The Issues tab shows example emergent issues detected over the last 30 days, including:

  • Issue name and description.
  • Instances.
  • Conversations.
  • Visitors.
  • Accounts.
  • Last occurred timestamp.

This preview helps you understand how issue detection can surface patterns such as inconsistent tone, missing tool usage, truncated responses, or formatting violations.

Conversations (Preview)

The Conversations tab shows example conversation-level insights, including:

  • User reactions (for example, Positive or Negative) and any accompanying comments.
  • Whether a suggested prompt was used.
  • Number of tools used.

This preview illustrates how capturing full conversations provides visibility into agent performance, feedback trends, and tool usage.

Use full conversation capture for more detailed insights

If the conversations mode preview is useful, you can install the Conversations API to start analyzing your own conversation data instead of sample data. When you capture both prompts and responses, you can:

  • Detect real issues from your agents’ activity.
  • Review full conversations instead of prompts only.
  • Investigate usage patterns and performance trends.
  • Identify opportunities to improve responses and workflows.

After you install the Conversations API, the preview tabs are replaced with live data from your subscription.

Availability and visibility

The conversations mode preview:

  • Is available only for prompt-only agents.
  • Displays sample data only until the Conversations API is installed.
  • Doesn’t affect agent behavior or data collection.

If you don’t want to see this experience in your subscription, contact our support team to request that it be hidden.
