Pendo Community moderators are experienced Pendo users who leverage their real-world Pendo experience to help fellow users succeed. Whether their background is in product, customer experience, design, or education, moderators play a key role in strengthening our community. In return for volunteering their time, they enjoy unique perks and recognition for the impact they make as part of our overall Pendo Advocates program.
Roles and responsibilities
Moderators volunteer their time to:
- Answer questions in our community.
- Share best practices and tips.
- Participate in community discussions regularly.
- Direct others to Pendo resources.
- Keep the community organized.
Additionally, moderators help maintain the community by:
- Removing spam posts.
- Flagging issues needing attention from Pendo Community managers.
- Providing feedback to improve the Pendo Community experience.
Qualifications and expectations
We seek individuals with experience using Pendo products and tools, especially those with expertise in specific areas of the product. Moderators should have:
- Pendo experience. Strong familiarity with Pendo products and tools.
- Clear communication. Good writing skills to explain concepts, answer questions, and guide members effectively.
- Problem-solving mindset. Ability to share solutions and direct members toward helpful resources.
- Time to contribute. Approximately one to two hours each week.
- Communnity spirit. Empathy, friendliness, and a genuine desire to help others succeed.
While most questions are in English, we welcome support for our global audience as well.
