The AI prompts tab in Organization settings gives you visibility into AI prompt usage across your subscriptions. You can use this tab to monitor consumption trends, identify spikes, and compare prompt activity between subscriptions.
Prerequisites
To access the AI prompts tab, you need Org Admin permissions.
View AI prompt usage
The AI prompts tab shows the total number of prompts entered by visitors and sent to your AI agents over a selected period. All metrics in this tab are calculated in Coordinated Universal Time (UTC), not your subscription's local timezone.
Note: Prompts captured for visitors and accounts on your exclude list aren't included in your prompt counts and don’t count toward your monthly prompt limit.
To view AI prompt usage:
- Go to Settings > Organization settings.
- Select the AI prompts tab.
The tab includes the following:
- Current prompt count. The total number of prompts over the selected period. This metric always includes all subscriptions in your organization, updates once daily in UTC, and resets at the start of each calendar month, so a significant decrease on the first is expected. Subscription filters don’t change this number.
- Prompts overview chart. A time-series chart showing prompt counts over the selected period, broken down by subscription. You can switch between Daily, Weekly, and Monthly views.
- Average prompt count. The average number of prompts for each day over the selected period.
- Highest prompt count. The peak prompt count recorded in a single day, along with the date it occurred.
Filter prompt data
You can filter the AI prompts tab to focus on specific date ranges or subscriptions.
- To change the date range, select the date range dropdown and choose a period. The default is Last 30 Days.
- To filter by subscription, select the subscription dropdown and choose a specific subscription. The default is All Subscriptions.
The Prompts overview chart and summary metrics located to the right of the chart update to reflect your filter selections. The Current prompt count always reflects data from all subscriptions over the last 30 days and isn’t affected by filters.
View AI prompts in Plan details
You can also view AI prompt usage in the Plan details tab in Organization settings. The Subscription details table includes an AI prompts (last 30 days) column, which shows the total number of user-entered prompts sent to your AI agents for each subscription and application over the last 30 days.
Exclude list behavior
AI prompt counts don't include prompts from visitors or accounts in your subscription's exclude list. For more information about exclude lists, see Exclude and include lists.
