Send Agent Analytics digests to Microsoft Teams (beta)

This article explains how to set up and manage Microsoft Teams digests for Agent Analytics. Digests send scheduled updates about your AI agent's performance, including key metrics, visitor adoption, and emergent issues, directly to a designated channel in Microsoft Teams.

Before you begin

To create an Agent Analytics digest, you need the following:

• The Send Messages to Microsoft Teams integration must be enabled in Settings > Integrations > Microsoft Teams. For more information about what's included in this integration, see Connect Microsoft Teams to Pendo.
• You must have subscription admin or AI Agent Admin permissions in Pendo.

Note: You can only send digests to public Microsoft Teams channels. Sending Pendo data to private Microsoft Teams channels isn't currently supported.

Set up an Agent Analytics digest for Microsoft Teams

Create a recurring digest to send a summary of your AI agent's performance to a channel on a regular schedule. You can review the Preview section at the bottom of the page to see an example of the Microsoft Teams message using sample data. To set up a digest for an AI agent:

1. Go to Product > Agent Analytics from the left-side menu in Pendo.
2. Under AI agents, select the Edit settings gear icon next to the relevant agent.
3. Select Microsoft Teams digest, or scroll to the bottom of the page.
4. Under Channel, search for and select the Microsoft Teams channel where you want to receive the digest. The channel picker shows standard and shared channels in public teams where the Pendo app is installed.
5. Under Frequency, choose how often the digest should post: daily, weekly, or monthly. The Preview of the digest automatically updates the phrasing based on the frequency.
6. Depending on your chosen frequency, select the specific day for delivery.
7. Select the delivery time and your preferred timezone.
8. In Segment, choose a segment to filter the data included in the digest.
9. After all fields are complete, the digest saves automatically. No additional save action is required. You receive a confirmation toast message after every update.
10. Select Close.

Manage a Microsoft Teams digest

You can update the settings for the Agent Analytics digest at any time. Your changes are automatically saved and applied.

To stop sending the digest:

1. Go to Product > Agent Analytics from the left-side menu in Pendo.
2. Under AI agents, select the Edit settings gear icon next to the relevant agent.
3. Select Microsoft Teams digest, or scroll to the bottom of the page.
4. Select Turn off Microsoft Teams digest.
5. To re-enable digests, repeat the setup flow.
