Teams digests send scheduled updates about your AI agent's performance — including key metrics, visitor adoption, and emergent issues — directly to a designated Microsoft Teams channel. This article explains how to set up and manage Teams digests for Agent Analytics.

Before you begin

  • TheSend Pendo data to Slack integration must be enabled in Settings > Integrations. See Connect Microsoft Teams to Pendo.
  • You must have Subscription Admin or AI Agent Admin permissions in Pendo.

Note: Only public Teams channels are currently supported. Private channel support is planned for a future release.

Set up a Teams digest

  1. Go to Product > Agent Analytics from the left-side menu in Pendo.
  2. Under AI agents, select the Edit settings gear icon next to the relevant agent.
  3. Select Teams digest in the top-left corner, or scroll to the bottom of the page. [PLACEHOLDER: verify exact label — SME question: "Is the tab or section label 'Teams digest' or something different?"]
  4. Under Channel, search for and select the Teams channel where you want to receive the digest.

Note: Teams channel names include a team and channel prefix — for example, Marketing > General. The dropdown lists all public channels in your connected Teams workspace. Use the Manage Channels icon if channel names are too long to display in full.

  5. Under Frequency, choose how often the digest should post:
    • Daily
    • Weekly
    • Monthly
  6. Depending on your chosen frequency, select the specific day of the week or day of the month for delivery.
  7. Select the delivery time and your preferred timezone.
  8. Under Segment, choose a segment to filter the data included in the digest.

After all fields are complete, the digest saves automatically. No additional save action is required.

Stop a Teams digest

To stop sending the digest, select [PLACEHOLDER: verify exact label — SME question: "What is the label on the button that disables the Teams digest? For example, 'Turn off Teams digest'?"] next to the Channel field.

About the digest preview

Note: The digest preview in Pendo displays an example using sample data. For Agent Analytics, the Teams preview may not exactly match the final digest message — the Teams version is optimized for Teams adaptive card formatting.
