Export all results from a poll
Thanks Doug McDaniel and Liz Feller for calling this one out as a frequently asked question:
"I would recommend creating a Visitor Report where each column is a question from your poll. This visitor report is downloadable and will have all poll responses"
You can also check out this thread to see how you can include the question in the header of your poll response export: https://support.pendo.io/hc/en-us/community/posts/4408561477403-How-to-include-the-question-in-header-of-a-poll-response-export-

Is it possible to add what poll step (question number) the poll was associated with? I have several items that start off with the same stem and not having the question number is complicating analysis.
We should not have to go through hoops and hacks to get a download of polls in guides. I am shocked Pendo does not have an easy download button in Guides and may have to quit using Pendo for in-app surveys all together. Pitty.
I would love to have the possibility to export one report with all answers where one visitor is a row, and questions are columns just like user attributes. It would make my researcher's life a lot easier. We switched our quarterly survey to Pendo, and when I realized that I needed to download each question separately or add it to the Visitor Report, I was extremely sad and disappointed. It's really time-consuming.
Luiza Pianka - agreed, major gap and has also eaten up lot of my time which is why we ultimately added a CX tool into our tech stack which will replace our Pendo guide surveys in Q2 2024.
Our current workaround going to poll responses tab and within the Visitors response sections adding the additional poll question / responses in the columns.
Hi Late to this thread but as a researcher I am experiencing the same issue. I experimented with Gina's workaround but it does not work either. when you add an extra column for another poll's response the last dropdown option you are given is "Latest response (ever/within a timeframe)", which means that field will be populated always with the latest entry and not the one that was submitted together with the other response.
I hope that is clear, has anyone discovered a workaround?
Also creating a Visitor Report does not work either, it is a report about a segment, not about individual responses, so it only provides one entry per visitor, the latest. My visitors submit multiple responses per session.
