You can change the language and formatting used in Pendo by selecting a preferred locale. This helps personalize your experience and improves clarity if you're working in Japanese or German.
What changes when you update your language
When you choose a supported language, Pendo updates the interface text in most major product areas.
Currently supported languages include:
- English (default).
- German (Deutsch).
- Japanese (日本語).
- Portuguese (Português).
- Spanish (Español).
Note: Some parts of the product might still appear in English or be partially localized. If you notice unclear or incorrect translations, contact our support team to report issues or suggest improvements.
Set a default language for your subscription (admins)
Admins can choose a default locale for the entire subscription. This sets the language shown to users who haven’t selected a personal preference in their user profile.
To update this setting, go to Settings > Subscription settings > Locale. Individual users can override this setting at any time from their profile.
Change your personal language setting
- Select your profile icon in the top-right corner, then select User profile.
- Open the Preferences tab, then use the Language dropdown under User settings to select your preferred language.
- Your selection takes effect immediately and persists across sessions.
- If no personal language is selected, Pendo uses the default set by your subscription.
