This article explains how to connect your Oracle Eloqua Marketing Automation instance to Pendo Predict so you can use Eloqua as a source when building predictive models

Requirements

Before you begin, make sure you have:

  • A Pendo Predict account
  • An Oracle Eloqua account with the following permissions:
    • Consume API
    • Manage Contacts
    • Manage Data Import
    • Manage Data Export

Step 1. Set up the Oracle Eloqua source

  1. In Pendo Predict, go to the Sources tab.

  2. Select New Source, then choose Oracle Eloqua.

  3. Enter a name that other users will recognize easily.

  4. Log in to Oracle Eloqua when prompted.

  5. After successful integration, Oracle Eloqua appears as a connected source in the Sources tab.

Step 2. Manage the Oracle Eloqua source

As the owner of a data source, you can manage its access and ensure the connection is functioning correctly. This includes sharing the source with additional users and testing the connection.

  • To test the connection, select the More options icon (three dots), then choose Test connection.
  • To share the source, select the More options icon, then choose Share. When shared, other users can use the Salesforce source when building predictive models.
