Overview
Alerts Tab shows mobile pages and features that have stopped collecting analytics and displaying guides.
Pendo proactively shows alerts for pages and features that may need verifying due to a new app version release or when a potential issue is identified. A few examples of why a page or feature may need to be updated are: Changes to a page’s title, structure and/or custom attributes.
How do Alerts work?
When a new version of your app is released, the rules which Pendo uses to identify a page or feature may have changed.
Pendo compares the pages with no views or feature clicks from your latest app version release to the same pages or features in previous app versions that had page views or feature clicks in the last 30 days.
Pages and features showing this pattern of behavior are shown as an ‘Alert’.
How to Update Pages and Features
1. Go to Product > Select either Pages or Features > Alerts tab.
2. Hover over the page row and click on the camera icon to update the page. Make sure you update the page with the most recent app version.
3. If you need to update the page, simply click ‘Update Page’.
4. If Pendo identifies features that need update on this page, you will receive an alert on the top right corner of the screen.
All features that need updating on this page will appear with an "update" red button.
Note you can also subscribe to Page and Feature Alerts to be notified via email.
