Outline displaying on guide

Last updated:

The blue outline on a guide is an accessibility feature that the browser uses to tell screen readers that the guide should be read first. It indicates that the guide is "selected" by the screen reader to read its contents. You can turn this accessibility feature off in the designer.

To remove the blue outline feature:

1. Launch the guide designer

2. In the Styling tab, uncheck the Autofocus this step box.

3. Select Done.

This disables the accessibility feature that allows screen readers to read the guide, which also removes the blue box around the guide.
