Frequency Definition
This graphic is found in Daily/Weekly/Monthly Visitors and Daily/Weekly/Monthly Accounts Dashboard Widgets, as well as the frequency graphs on the Visitor and Account Pages. (Note: the frequency graph on the Visitor or Account page is calculated based on the last 30 days). This graph shows you how often your app is used. The goal here is to increase the number of daily and weekly users. Visitors and accounts are calculated into one of the three categories, so there is no overlap. (This differs from the stickiness metric, which does overlap users across DAU/WAU/MAU for its calculations and does not use the category metrics detailed below.) A visitor or account will fit into one of the categories based on the below metrics:
-
Monthly visitors/account = if they have events recording between 1 and 4 days over a month period
-
Weekly visitors/accounts = if they have events recorded between 5 and 12 days over a month period
-
Daily visitors/accounts = if they have events recorded on 13 or more days over a month period
